Girls Soccer Heads To District Tournament At York Tonight

Third seeded Cannon County Lionette soccer rolls into the semifinal round of tonight District 7-AA tournament on a three game winning streak, The Lionettes are 5-5 overall and will meet second seeded York Institute who also hosts the District event in Jamestown. A win tonight would put the Lionettes in uncharted waters as it would advance them into the championship game Thursday.
York swept the season series between the two teams but both games were nail biters. Tonight's game is slated to start at 7:00 after the #1 Smith County vs #4 Watertown game.
