Gertie Francis Youngblood, 95, died Tuesday, Feb. 07, 2012 at Woodbury Nursing Center following an extended illness.
A native of Cannon County, she lived in Woodbury.
A member for over 70 years at Centerhill Baptist Church, Ms. Youngblood was a retired factory worker, homemaker and basket maker.
Survivors:
Son & Daughter-in-law: Garland & Linda Youngblood of Woodbury.
Grandchildren: Ken (Fay) Youngblood of McMinnville & Avery (Nancy) Youngblood of Woodbury.
Great Grandchildren: Jeff & Steven Smith; Scott & Kevin Youngblood and Lynesa Bell.
Great Great Grandchildren: Rayton, Emeline, Aiden, Casen, Cade, Meredith, Madison & Nora.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie & Tillie Manus Thomas; husband, Elvert Youngblood; son, Leon Youngblood, daughter-in-law, Margie Youngblood and sister, Elsie Youngblood.
Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 10, 2012 with Bro. Greg Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Centerhill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 09, 2012.
