George Jones claims daughter stole his car

George Jones filed a report at the Cannon County Sheriff's Department on March 18, claiming his daughter stole his vehicle.

Jones stated he loaned his daughter, Marilyn Jones, his 2006 Dodge to take her boyfriend back to Grundy County where he lives and she never returned the vehicle.

Jones said he contacted his daughter several times, asking her to bring the vehicle back to him. He told her if she did not, he would report it as stolen.

Jones said Marilyn told him she was not returning the vehicle and also told her sister she had left the state and was staying at a friend's house.

A felony warrant was obtained, charging Marilyn Jones with theft over $1,000.
