Former School Board Member Sanders Pens Letter Of Thanks

To the voters of District 1 and Cannon County Schools Family:

It was a true honor to serve as the District 1 Board Member for Cannon County the last eight (8) years.
I vowed to be your voice of reason and always stand for what I felt was right for all the students and team members of Cannon County Schools.
It is my hope and desire that overall you agree with me as I look back at where we have came since 2012.
My tenure also allowed me to get to know many more people that contribute to Cannon County's future and the hard work that goes in to making that happen.
Education is perhaps more important in today's world than ever before. I encourage everyone to stay informed, support your young people, support our school system.
Education in Cannon County is going to look different in order to progress.
I am excited to see what that picture looks like. Please join me in working as a citizen to be a proponent of Public Education at its best.
Finally, I want to express my most heartfelt and sincere thank you to my constituents and my teammates that I worked alongside during the past 8 years.
I will forever be grateful that the opportunity was afforded to me to serve the people as District 1 Member Cannon County Board of Education.
