Floyd Gannon

Floyd Gannon, 73, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016 at his home in Woodbury. He was a native of Cannon Co.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Fannie Gannon of Woodbury; Children, Larry (Kay) Gannon of Woodbury and Rita (Michael, Sr.) Howell of Bradyville; 3 grandchildren, Amber Vassar, Michael Howell, Jr. and Phillip Howell; 5 Great Grandchildren, Lydia, Carter, Kaden & Summer Howell & Ava Vassar; Siblings, Lloyd (Barbara) Gannon of Woodbury, Lonnie (Pat) Gannon, Wade (Judy) Gannon and Faye Thomas all of Bradyville; Sisters-in-law, Sarah (Carl) Mathis and Lorene Roach of Centertown, Ruby Alred, Mary Rackley & Dotty Ross all of Woodbury; Brother-in-law, Raymond (Elizabeth) Miller of Woodbury.

He was preceded in death by her parents, Frank & Evelyn Pelham Gannon; Sister, Betty Ann Parker and Brother, Jackie Gannon.

Mr. Gannon was retired from Carrier and loved to work in the garden.

Funeral services will be 2 pm Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Ralph Richardson officiating. Interment will follow in the Prater Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Monday, January 2, 2017 from 3 to 9 pm.
