Home Burglary
Cannon County Sheriff's Department investigated a burglary on Burt Burgen Road during which several firearms, jewelry and cash were stolen.
The back door of the home had been kicked in and a vehicle left marks behind the house, reported Deputy Joshua Thomas.
Among the items stolen were a Hawkin .50-caliber rifle, a 40-caliber rifle with scope, an H&R single shot 12-gauge shotgun, a 20-gauge shotgun and a .410 pump shotgun that was more than 100 years old. The missing guns were valued at $1,300.

DUI
John Wayne Dillard was charged with driving on a revoked license, DUI and driving without proof of insurance following a traffic stop by Assistant Chief Lowell Womack. A hearing is set for Tuesday, Jan. 13 in General Sessions Court.
Theft, Forgery
Stephanie Lufey Wilson was charged with three counts of theft under $500 and two counts of forgery by Assistant Chief Lowell Womack. A hearing is set for Tuesday, Jan. 13 in General Sessions Court.
