Feb. 16: American Legion Post 279 Meeting

American Legion Post 279 will meet Thursday, February 16, 2012.

Dinner will be served at 5:45 p.m.  Our regular meeting starts at 6:30 p.m.  

Our guest speaker will be Tennessee State Representative Mark Pody.

Our Commander, Bobby Ferrell, will summarize the exciting events planned for this year.  

We will also, briefly, hold our process for nominating our Post officers for 2012. The actual election of officers will be held during our March meeting.

Come on out, bring your spouse and enjoy a great meal prepared by the ladies of our Auxiliary, enjoy an informative meeting, and socialize with friends.  See what great things are being planned for our children and our community. If you want to be part of a good thing, come and help us make our community a better place to be.
