Evert Lee Mayo

Evert Lee Mayo, 65, died Thursday, December 3, 2009 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center following an extended illness.

A resident of Woodbury and a native of Cannon County, he was a member of the Baptist faith and a retired salesman.

Funeral services are set for Saturday, Dec. 5 at 3 p.m. from the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Mitchell officiating. Interment will be in Center Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Mayo of Woodbury; son, Tim Mayo of Woodbury; mother-in-law, Mary Mooneyham of Woodbury; brother-in-law, Buck Mooneyham; sister-in-law Nancy Mayo; and nieces, nephews and special great nephews: Tonya Cantrell, Brad Prater, Tina Young, Kandy Fish, Kerry Mayo, Dan Mayo, Teresa Jacobs, Angela Knox, Dewana Hale, and Eli, Kelby and Zacj Cantrell.
