PrintEthel Anderson Scarbrough, age 94, of Woodbury, passed away June 1, 2015 at Woodbury Health Care Center. She was a native of Oconee, GA.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Osborne of Woodbury; Son, Don (Kathy) Scarbrough of Rentz, GA; Grandchildren, Jay (Lisi) Osborne, Michele Gunter, Ryan (Leslea) Osborne, Amanda (Travis) Roose, & Ben Scarbrough; Great Grandchildren, Chad & Austin, April, Casey, & Chase, Ryan & Skyler, and Cayne & Jada.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Thomas Anderson & Eleren Hilson Anderson; husband, Bill Scarbrough; Siblings, Curtis Anderson, Evalee Brantley, & Gladys Underwood; and Grandson, Austin Brown.
Ms. Scarbrough was a member of the Cornerstone Community Church and was a homemaker. She loved her family and to work in the garden. She enjoyed being a Sunday School teacher and singing in the choir.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Thursday, June 4, 2015 at Cornerstone Baptist Church with Bros. Rick McFerrin, Rick Underwood, & Teddy Underwood officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Gardens. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at the funeral home.
