Eight Charged With Violation Of Probation



Eight people were charged recently with violating probation:

• Kermit J. Peeples, 105 Greenbriar St., Woodbury, was arrested on a warrant charging him with Violation Of Probation on Jan. 24. Peebles was convicted of Driving Under The Influence (1st) on Aug. 23, 2011. He was placed on probation from that date until Aug. 20, 2012. Peebles has allegedly violation probation by failing to abstain from illegal drug use by testing positive for marijuana, cocaine and benzodiazephines on Jan. 4, 2012, failing to complete DUI School and 24 hours of litter removal as directed by the court and failing to pay court costs, fines and restitution. Bond was fixed at $2,500. Initial court date is Feb. 21.

• Candice Dawn Laxton, 120 England Lane, Woodbury, was arrested on a warrant charging her with Violation Of Probation on Jan. 29. Laxton was convicted on two counts of Driving Under The Influence (1st) on Oct. 4, 2011. She was placed on probation from that date until Sept. 29, 2012. Laxton allegedly violated probation conditions by testing positive for marijuana on Jan. 11 and failing to pay court costs, fines and probation fees. Bond was set at $2,500. Initial court date is Feb. 21.

• Princess Odom, 1219 Meridian St., Nashville, was served a warrant charging her with Violation Of Probation. Odom was convicted of two counts of Passing A Worthless Check on June 2, 2009. She has allegedly violated probation for a third time by failing to pay court costs, fines and probation fees as directed by the court. Initial court date is March 20.

• Dallas Jay Rogers, 125 Orville Duke Rd., Morrison, was served a Violation Of Probation warrant on Jan. 28. Rogers was convicted of two counts of Driving On/With A Suspended License (1st) on Nov. 8, 2011. He has allegedly violated the conditions of probation by testing positive for marijuana, cocaine and opiates and by failing to pay court costs, fines and probation fees as directed by the court. Bond was set at $2,500. Initial court date is Feb. 21.

• Kory Lyndell Smith, 7607 McMinnville Hwy., Woodbury, was served a Violation Of Probation warrant on Jan. 26. Smith was convicted of Driving Under The Influence (1st) on Oct. 12, 2010 and was placed on probation from that date until Sept. 19, 2012. It is alleged that Smith has violated probation by failing to report to his probation officer as directed, failing to be available for random drug screening as ordered, failing to pay court costs, fines and probation fees as directed and failing to attend DUI school as directed. Bond was fixed at $10,000. Initial court date is Feb. 21.

• Wiley Thomas, 749 Jim Town Rd., Woodbury, was served a Violation Of Probation warrant on Jan. 26. Thomas was convicted of Evading Arrest and Possession Of Schedule VI Drugs (Marijuana) on April 19, 2011 and was placed on probation from that date until April 9, 2012. Thomas has allegedly violated probation by failing to report to his probation officer as directed, failing to submit to random drug screens as directed and failing to pay court costs, fines and restitution as directed. Bond was set at $2,500. Initial court date is Feb. 14.

• Michael Lynn Adcock, 915 Reed Court, Woodbury, was served a warrant for Violation Of Probation on Jan. 30. Adcock was convicted of Evading Arrest on Sept. 27, 2011 and placed on probation until Sept. 25, 2011. He has allegedly violated probation by failing to report to his probation officer as directed, failing to be available for random drug screening as ordered, and failing to pay court costs, fines and probation fees. Bond was fixed at $2,500. Initial court date is Feb. 21.

• Bobby Davenport, 1331 Old Smithville Hwy., Morrison, was served a Violation Of Probation warrant on Jan. 26. Davenport was convicted of Driving On/With A Suspended License on Nov. 1, 2011 and was placed on probation from that date until April 30, 2012. He has allegedly violated probation by failing to report to his probation officer as directed, failing to submit to a drug screen as directed and failing to pay court costs, fines and probation fees as directed. Bond was fixed at $2,500. Initial court date is March 20.
