Eddie James Crews

Eddie James Crews, 64, died Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Murfreesboro.

A resident of Woodbury, Mr. Crews was born in Nahunta, GA. He was a carpenter, a Vietnam War veteran and a member of the Baptist faith.

He was the son of the late Sim Crews and Irene Elizabeth Crews.

Survivors include children Tina, Brandy and Clint Crews, all of Florida; a sister, Mary Francis Carter of Nahunta, GA and three brothers, Neil Crews of Waycross, GA, Joe Tarroll Crews of Hoboken, GA and Dewitt Crews of Woodbury.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Don Rigsby officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in the Crews Family Cemetery.

Active pallbears will be Blake O’Neal, Randy Vassar, Marvin Wheeler, Stacy Wheeler, Charlie Wilson and Ken Crews.
