Due to the Christmas and New Year's holidays falling on a Saturday this year, the Cannon Courier will have early deadlines the next two weeks.

Deadline for news and advertising for both the Dec. 28 and Jan. 4 editions of the Courier is 5 p.m. Wednesday (Dec. 22 and Dec. 29).

Town of Woodbury offices will be closed this Friday (Dec. 24) and Monday (Dec. 27) and also on Friday, Jan. 31.

Cannon County Government offices at the courthouse will be closed this Friday, Saturday and also next Monday.

The Woodbury Post Office will be closed the next two Saturdays.

Two local banks will close at noon this Friday (Regions and First National Bank) while FirstBank will close at 1 p.m.

Most businesses in Woodbury and Cannon County are planning to close early Friday.
