Auburntown native, Dr. Frank Willard turned 102 on June 11. In celebration of his birthday, Clarksville, TN neighbors planted 102 pink flamingos in his front yard along with a giant handmade happy birthday card. He and his wife Katherine who is 99 years of age have been married for 76 years and remain at home together. Willard wears his WW II cap while greeting well-wishers. He served in the U.S. Army for 7 years entering as private in 1941 and leaving as a lieutenant colonel. (Photo by Nancy Hines)
