Deborah L Hayes, age 68, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday May 23, 2021. Debbie was Business Office Manager at Stones River Hospital for many years and retired from Home Town Respiratory. She was a devout Christian woman, serving the Lord with all her heart and soul.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, James L Hayes; two sons, Scott and Eric Hayes and a daughter Jamie Hayes Whiteaker; six grandchildren: Alex Hayes, Alexis Hayes, Allyson Whiteaker, Austin Luke Hayes, Kensley Whiteaker and Alyssa Hayes; mother, Shirley Molchan; four siblings Todd Molchan, John Molchan, Rusty Wackerman and Jackie Burhans.
The family is honoring Debbie's request to be cremated. A Celebration of Life service will be hosted by Outreach Baptist Church in Smithville on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at 3pm.
