Gus Davenport goes for the record tonight in Lynchburg as the senior needs just 21 points to tie, 22 points to surpass Justin Davenport as Cannon County Boys all time career scorer. Davenport is expected to accomplish the goal tonight as the Lions travel to Lynchburg to meet Moore County in the first basketball game of 2022 for both teams.
Cannon defeated Moore on December 17th as Gus scored 43 in a 72-53 win in Woodbury.
The Lionettes tip things off at 6:00 with their game against the Lady Raiders. Cannon County swept both games with the Lionettes winning on December 17th.
