Dates have been set for the annual girls and boys basketball camps offered by the basketball programs at Cannon County High School.

The 2014 Camp of Champions for girls ages K-through-8th grade will take place May 27-30 at Cannon County High School’s Robert A. Harris Gymnasium.

The fifth Next Level Basketball Camp for boys grades K-through-8 will also take place May 27-30.
The Camp of Champions will take place from 8:30 a.m. to noon daily.

Camp instruction areas include shooting, ball handling, passing, rebounding, position work, competitive games and guest speakers.

Snacks will be sold at the camp store each day.

The camp staff includes Lionettes Head Coach Michael Dodgen, as well as current assistant coaches and Lionette players. Cost is $45 and includes a camp tee-shirt. Campers may register and pay the day of the camp.

The Next Level Camp for boys runs 1-to-4 p.m. daily. Cost is $45 and includes a camp tee-shirt.

Camp instruction includes shooting, ball handling, passing, defensive positioning, position skills, chalk talks, 5-on-5 tournaments, individual competitions and guest speakers.

Campers may register and pay the first day of camp.

Camp instructors include Lions Head Coach Matt Rigsby, current assistants and Lions players.
