Community Artist Kay Currie recently volunteered her time to the Woodland School art class as an visiting artist. Kay owns Blue Pony Studio in Readyville TN, where she sculpts, throws and paints clay. She brought several pieces for show and tell. The kids were so excited to learn some of her techniques and all about the firing process. She answered questions and ended with making a clay pot on one of our class pottery wheels. Woodland appreciates Mrs. Kay Currie taking time out of her schedule to share her passion and love of art with the students! Woodland welcomes all artists who would like to come out and be a part of the school's art experience.
