The sixth annual Cannon Blast 5K Run/Walk is set for Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 7:30 a.m. The start and finish will be at the ARTS Center of Cannon County located at 1424 John Bragg HWY. The course will include HWY 70S (four lane highway), Cross the River Road, Old Murfreesboro highway, and Mile Valley Road. If you live on these roads, come out and cheer the runners on.

The cost of the race is $20 per adult and $15 for anyone under 18 years of age. Early registration insures a goodie bag and t-shirt.

You may register the morning of the race as well.

The race is sponsored by Cannon County Youth Dream organization. All proceeds from the race fund the Youth DREAM mini-grant program for Cannon county schools as well as the Youth DREAM college scholarships.
