Closings and Postponements Friday January 7

Woodbury City Hall remains closed today.

Town Of Woodbury Public Works Director Shane Gannon announces due to weather today's garbage pickup has been postponed. With inclement weather expected to last until Friday, garbage routes may be delayed tomorrow as well. All trash routes will be picked up on Monday.

Cannon County High School Basketball games originally scheduled for tonight against Smith County will be played Monday night in Woodbury.

Due to continued hazardous weather and travel conditions statewide, including freezing rain, ice and snowfall, Gov. Bill Lee has closed state offices on Friday, January 7 in all West, Middle and East Tennessee state offices.
State employees will utilize work from home capabilities where possible. State services offered online will remain available.
All citizens are urged to exercise caution and avoid non-essential travel where possible on Friday, January 7.
