Claudia Faye Bailey, 74, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at St. Thomas Midtown. A native of Cannon Co., she was the daughter of the late, Woodrow and Mattie Brown Gunter.

She is survived by her sons, Donnie Bailey (Rita Ray) of McMinnville and Ronnie (Denna) Bailey of Woodbury; grandchildren, Kendra Bailey, Ashley (Shane) Anderson, Will (Brooke) Bailey, Natalie (Jason) Sanders and Natasha (Blake) Parker; great grandchildren, Laiken and Raiden Breeding, Keilah Floyd, Kailey, Emma, Kadence and Jordon Muncey, Harper Bailey, Kurstin Warrick, Karoline Sanders and Wyatt Coffman; sisters, Elaine Judkins and Laura Mae Pelham both of Bradyville, Debbie Chavez of Nashville; brother, Higgins Gunter of Cookeville; brother-in-law, Freddy Belcher of Woodbury and sister-in-law, Barbara Bailey of Bradyville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband who passed on February 6, 2021, Don Ray Bailey, grandson, Donald Bailey and brothers, Randall, Woody, Kenneth and Claude Gunter.

A member of Mt. Aarat Church of Christ, Faye was a homemaker and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed puzzles and yard sales.

Funeral services will be 12 noon Saturday, February 27, 2021 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Hale officiating. Interment will follow in the Gunter-Grizzle Cemetery. Pallbearers include, Michael, Brian and Jeremy Judkins, Jordan Muncy, Shane Anderson and Shannon Newby. Visitation with her family will be from 4 pm until 8 pm Friday, February 26, 2021 at Woodbury Funeral Home, 615-563-2311.
