Christine Muncy Mooreland

Christine Muncy Moreland, 99, died Wednesday, October 13, 2010. A native of Cannon County, she lived in Murfreesboro.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tully O. Muncy and Hattie Vinson Muncy; her brothers, William Avent Muncy, Charles Levoit Muncy and Kenneth D. Muncy and her sister, Eunice Muncy Parton.
 
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 16 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Daniel Hayes officiating. Interment will follow in the Leoni Cemetery.
 
She is survived by her daughter, Beverly M. (Bill) Williamson of Murfreesboro, her son, Tully W. "Sonny Boy" Myers of McMinnville; 3 grandchildren, Kay Starr of Cookeville, Carisa (Charles) Watson of Warren Co. and Aleta (David) Boatman of Woodbury. Also surviving are 7 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.
 
A member of the North Blvd. Church of Christ, she was a retired seamstress.
 
Visitation with the family will be Friday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Leoni Cemetery Trust Fund.
