Charles Leonard, age 84, of Loretto, TN passed away Monday, July 29, 2013 at his residence. He was a native of Red Boiling Springs, TN, former manager of Lawrenceburg Kroger, owner and operator of Leonards Bi-Rite, and Minister of the Gospel for the Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Melvin and Lula Bean Leonard; one sister, Dorothy Parker; two brothers, Kendall and James Leonard; and son-in-law, Mark Sechrest.

He is survived by his wife of 60 Years, Faye Brewer Leonard, Loretto, TN; a daughter, Cherie Sechrest, Albany, GA ; a son, Jeff Leonard (Carolyn), Loretto, TN; two brothers Ray Leonard, LaVergne, TN andJohn Leonard, Ridgetop, TN; four sisters, Mary Barrett, Trion, GA, Elise Haynes, Lascassas, TN, Grace Baird, Woodbury, and Rebecca Leonard, Florence, TN; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, August 01, 2013 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Friday, August 02, 2013, with Bro. Danny Pettus and Bro. Rodney Livingston officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens at 2:00 PM in Murfreesboro, TN. Family suggests memorials be made to The Bible Scroll Fund, PO Box 187, Loretto, TN.
