CCHS volleyball sweeps

Cannon County swept Clarkrange (25-22, 25-22) and Monterey (25-16, 25-20) in straight sets to capture both ends of a tri-match Sept. 26.

Abbey Spry had four aces and Rebekah Faulkner and Ariana Kailiponi added two each in the win against Clarkrange. Cheyene Fann had an ace in the win against Monterey. Faulkner, who returned for the first time this season, made her presence known.

She added three kills in the win against Monterey. Kailiponi added two kills in the victories for the improving Lionettes.

Cannon County suffered a three-set loss against Middle Tennessee Christian School Thursday.
