Cast Your Vote Now For Cannon County's Children
Cookies may start with cookie dough, but the Child Advocacy Center is hoping that the Christie Cookie contest will end with dough -- the money kind -- to support services for child abuse victims in Cannon and Rutherford Counties.  The Child Advocacy Center is the only agency in Cannon and Rutherford County that is in the Top 50 contenders in the nation in the Christie Cookie contest. There are several Nashville and middle Tennessee agencies in the Top 50, but our own Child Advocacy Center is currently in fourth place.

The Child Advocacy Center works as a team with Department of Children's Services, law enforcement, and the District Attorney's Office to investigate child abuse cases. If they win the Christie Cookie Contest, the funding from the contest will go to support services for child abuse victims, child sexual abuse victims, and drug endangered children in Cannon and Rutherford County.

The Child Advocacy Center needs your help to win the $10,000 grand prize, or the $5,000 second place prize, or one of the ten $1,000 third place prizes.  The deadline for voting is Thursday, October 15 at 12:00 midnight.

To vote go online to the Christie Cookie web site at www.christiecookies.com.  Click the "Christie Cookie $25,000 Charity Give Away" banner.  Then click the box that says, "Click Here to Nominate Your Favorite Charity."  Scroll down to find the agency you want to vote for.

To vote for the Cannon County Child Advocacy Center scroll down to the “Child Advocacy Center, Murfreesboro, TN.” When you vote for the CAC you are voting for both the Cannon County and the Rutherford County CAC. It takes less than 30 seconds to put in your name, email address, city, and state and nominate your favorite charity.  The Child Advocacy Center is hoping that you will nominate them!
