Cannon County High Students Earn Variety Of Honors
Cannon County High School announced Wednesday that a number of students have been recognized for outstanding academic achievement and received a variety of honors.

Selected to attend Tennessee Governor's Schools (photo above) are, from left, Dericka Simmons (Prospective Teachers - UT-Chattanooga), Emily Faulkner (Scientific Exploration of Tennessee Heritage - ETSU), Dylan McMurry (The School for Arts - MTSU and Humanties - UT-Martin), Darci Brandon, alternate (International Studies UT-Memphis), Damian Coomes, alternate (Humanties - UT-Martin) and Katlyn Currie (Agricultural Sciences - UT-Martin).



Darci Brandon has been selected People to People Student Ambassador - Japan and James Tyler Stone to People to People Leadership Summit - John Hopkins University.



Selected to attend the MTEMC Leadership Seminar are Kayla Head and John Andrew Gannon.



Sara Bowman has received a DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) scholarship.
