Cannon County High School Hoops Season Starts Tonight

The 2021-2022 high school basketball season officially gets started tonight as the Cannon County Lions and Lionettes basketball teams travel to Bell Buckle to meet the Champion and Lady Champions basketball teams at Cascade High School.
The Cannon County Lionettes are led by first year head coach Ashley Patrick and a senior core with point guard Maleah Sissom leading the team.
The Cannon County Lions are expecting to win at least 20 games under third year head coach Jason Knowles and have Gus Davenport returning who may end up being the schools leading scorer before his senior year is done.
Tonight's games will be video broadcasted via Facebook Live on "Cannon Courier News and Events." Facebook page. Tipoff will be at 6:00 with the stream starting at 5:50.
