The first Annual Meeting of the Cannon County Cattlemen’s Association is scheduled for Saturday, April 9th at 7:00 P.M. The meeting will be held at the Woodbury Lions Club Building.

Business includes election of board members, summer field day update, and presentation of awards and overview of 2010 activities. Directors with one year terms which can be reappointed are Becky Higgins, Charlie Bowman and Fred Adams.  

Beth Jones, representative from Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health is sponsoring the annual meeting. Please contact, Davy Sneed 904-5850, Shirley Dennis at 563-4123 or the Extension Office at 563-2554 for meal reservation.

Don’t forget to schedule you BSE exam for your herd bull. If you are interested in taking advantage of this opportunity, please call Dr. Willis to schedule an appointment to bring bulls in for testing. (931-409-3178).
