Cannon Arts Dance Classes Resume Aug. 23

There is a season for everything under heaven; A time to mourn, and a time to dance. (Ecl 3:1)

Once again its time to dance as Cannon Arts introduces its new season. The studio welcomes Darla Toker as our ballet and technique teacher.

Darla is cecchetti trained in ballet, and has owned studios in California and Oklahoma. One of Darla's former students is currently featured in the hit Broadway show Chorus Line.

The studio will also be implementing skill levels to provide consistent instruction and motivate students. Featured classes are ballet, tap, clogging, hip hop, jazz, cheer, contemporary and ballroom.

Field trips to the Nashville ballet's Nutcracker as well as to TPAC's In the Heights are planned this year. Students will have several performance opportunities including our annual recital at the Arts Center.
