RE: Voting Machine Inspections

In accordance with T.C.A. 2-9-105, you are hereby notified of all voting machine inspections, and canvassing of the machines to be in service for the August 5, 2010 Elections.

Because the machines are electronic and cannot be activated prior to being placed into service, any inspections will basically consist of verifying the seal numbers and viewing the zero tapes run prior to the machines being sealed.

All of the named procedures will be conducted at the office of the Cannon County Election Commission located at 301 W. Main St. Rm. #244.

The voting machines for Early Voting and Election day will be available for inspection on Tuesday July 6, 2010 at 8:00 A.M.

You are welcome to attend the above procedures if you wish, but you are not required to do so.
