The long arm of the law reached out and touched two brothers with convictions Thursday in Cannon County Circuit Court.

Marcus Tenpenny pled guilty to felony evading arrest stemming from an incident which occurred on Dec. 12, 2010, and to reckless endangerment from a Dec. 15, 2010 event.

On the felony evading arrest conviction he received a 2 year suspended sentence as a standard Range 1, 30 percent offender and was placed on state probation for two years. That sentence will run consecutive to any prior convictions.

He received a suspended sentence of 11 months, 29 days on the reckless endangerment conviction and was placed on probation for an equal amount of time, to run concurrent to the evading arrest conviction. His driver's license was revoked for 2 years and he was ordered to pay court costs.

Jeremy Lynn Tenpenny pled guilty to felony evading arrest stemming from an incident which occurred on Dec. 12, 2010 and to reckless endangerment with a weapon from a Dec. 15, 2010 incident.

On the felony evading arrest conviction he received a 4 year suspended sentence as a standard Range 1, 30 percent offender and was placed on state probation for four years.

The probation period will run consecutive to all prior convictions.

He received a 2 year suspended sentence on the reckless endangerment conviction and 2 years state probation, to run consecutive to all previous convictions. His driver's license was revoked for two years and he was ordered to pay court costs.
