Brain Health The Focus Of Event At Library



The Basics — Memory Loss, Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease, sponsored by the Alzheimer's Association, will be presented in early April at the Cannon County Library.

Find out what it's all about as well as how to reduce the risk of Alzheimer's through the promotion of brain health.

If you or someone you know is affected by Alzheimer’s disease or dementia, it’s time to learn the facts. This program provides information on detection, causes and risk factors, stages of the disease, treatment, and much more.

DETAILS: Registration is required. Deadline to register is Tuesday, April 3rd, 2012. This is FREE to attend and light snacks will be provided. Alzheimer’s disease affects 120,000 Tennesseans and 5.4 million nationally, as well as over 400,000 caregivers. The Basics provides education to the community and empowers those affected.
