Boyd Duggin, 87, died Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at Vanderbilt Hospital.
Mr. Duggin was a residence of Woodbury and a native of Cannon County.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church, a farmer and was the retired owner of Duggin’s General Store. A Veteran of WWII, Mr. Duggin served in the Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Callie Mae Duggin of Woodbury; children, Sam (Pam) Duggin of Gulf Port, MS and Judy (Lowell) Miller of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Alex and Reagan Duggin, Van Miller and Cydney Robinson; and great grandchildren, Ashley Crawford and Justin Crawford.
Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, S.L. and Eppie Northcutt Duggin; his brother, Marshall Duggin and sister, Dot New.
Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 22, 2011 with Bro. Hunter Hay and Bro. Bobby Zumbro officiating.
Burial will be in Riverside Gardens Cemetery.
Visitation woll be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, October 21, 2011.
