Blue Raiders To Appear Twice On Sun Belt Network

NEW ORLEANS – Middle Tennessee men’s basketball team will appear on the Sun Belt Network twice during the 2009-10 season as announced by the league office on Tuesday.

The Blue Raider’s away games with Western Kentucky, Saturday, Jan. 23, and South Alabama, Saturday, Feb. 6, are part of the Sun Belt Network package. The game with the Hilltoppers will be on ESPN2 at 12 p.m. while the South Alabama game will be on CSS at 1 p.m.

Middle Tennessee’s game with Tennessee set for 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 11 will also be televised on CSS. The game will be considered a home game for the Blue Raiders even though it is being played at the Sommet Center in Nashville.

The Blue Raiders appeared on television four times during the 2008-09 season.

Middle Tennessee’s game with Ohio on Sunday, Nov. 15 has been set for 3 p.m. while the game with UAB is set for 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 2. These games were listed as TBA on all printed schedules.

Middle Tennessee will play host to North Alabama in an exhibition game on Nov. 9 at 8 p.m. before officially opening the season with King College on Nov. 13 at 7 p.m.
