Billy Howard 'Mr. Bill' Todd

Billy Howard “Mr. Bill” Todd, 74 of Readyville passed away Thursday, July 28, 2011 at his home following an extended illness.  A native of Rutherford Co., he was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Leo Todd & Katherine Elrod Todd and his twin sisters, Nadine & Earline Todd.
 
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Lily D. Harris Todd of Readyville; 2 daughters, Lisa (Michael) Turner of Murfreesboro and Lynn (Kenneth) Hartley of Readyville; 3 grandchildren, Amy Danielle Turner (David) Sadoski, M.A. Kenneth “Ryan” (April) Hartley & Reid Hartley; Great grandson, Justin Turner; Brother, Freddie Todd of Murfreesboro; Nephew, Michael Todd & Niece, Lori Todd.
 
A member of the Science Hill Church of Christ, he was a veteran of the Army and Air Force Reserves.  Mr. Todd was retired from International Paper after 31 years.
 
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, July 31, 2011 with Bro. Tim Mitchell and Bro. Roy Upton officiating.  Interment will follow in the Riverside Gardens.  

Pallbearers include, Jimmy, Ronnie, Tommy, Jeff, Michael and Casey Todd.  Honorary Pallbearers include, “The Boys” of the International Paper Breakfast Clubs, Elders and Deacons at Science Hill Church of Christ.  Visitation with the family will be Saturday, July 30 from 4 pm until 8 pm.
