PrintBetty Jo Osment, 69, of Woodbury, passed away on June 10, 2013 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. She was a native of Warren County and a lifelong resident of Cannon County. Betty was a member of the Church of Christ and a homemaker.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Vera Mae Orrick. She is survived by her husband, Ernest Lee Osment; sons, Steven Dale Osment of Woodbury and Ernest Brian Osment of Woodbury; daughter, Shirlee Diane Cochrane of Murfreesboro; sister-in-law, Mae Orrick; and four grandchildren, Ian Cochrane, Halle Cochrane, Larena Osment, and Morgan Breanna Hale.
Chapel service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2013 with Herb Alsup officiating. Burial will follow at Gunter Grizzle Cemetery with friends serving as active pallbearers.
