The Cannon County Lions and Lionettes will end the first day of the Mitch Wilson Classic with games this afternoon at Robert A. Harris Gymnasium. The 21 team event spans two days in two gymnasiums with the Lionettes meeting Clay County starting at 3:00 this afternoon and the Lions game afterwards.
Saturday the games begin again at 10:30 at both Cannon County High School and Woodbury Grammar School. The Cannon County teams will meet Forrest at starting at 6:00 Saturday night.
All games involving Cannon County will be broadcast live through the website cannonsource.com. They will also be audio broadcast via Facebook Live through the Courier's Facebook site "Cannon Courier News and Events" Tipoff today again is at 3:00.
