Barbara Bly Toombs Bullmore

Barbara Bly Toombs Bullmore, age 62 of Walter Hill, died February 19, 2014 of natural causes at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. 

She was a native of Rutherford County all her life. She worked at Whirlpool in La Vergne, TN. She has been saved in the Baptist Church community. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Sam Bly Jr. and Gracie Nell Pitts Bly, both of Murfreesboro. She is also preceded in death by a daughter Wendy Toombs Joyce and Larry Lee Toombs Jr. (Toombus) both of Murfreesboro. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Bullmore of Walter Hill, and a brother Charles S. Bly of Murfreesboro. 

She is survived by her daughter Lisa Toombs Bowman (Wyatt) of Murfreesboro and their children Jordan and Connor Brannan, granddaughter that she adopted and raised like a daughter, Meredith Zltoky (Justin) of Lascassas and their children Callie and Jace Zlotky, Misty Bowen of Murfreesboro and her children Jacob Bousquet and Trevor Bowen of Walter Hill, a grandson Thomas Lee Joyce (TJ) of Walter Hill and a brother Randall Bly of Murfreesboro. 

In Lieu of flowers, Meredith Zlotky will open an account for donations to help with caring for Jacob and Trevor. She wanted to make sure that they are taken care of in her passing. Contact Smith Funeral Home for details.
