Well it's here! Just 2 more days from today (Tuesday) and many will be walking to get their diplomas while others will be ready to sleep in and enjoy some vacation - that includes All school employees!!

On that note, it's been field trip time for students. Friday the 13th, our 4th graders enjoy Farm Day at the Justin Pemberton Arena. Tuesday it was off to Jumpstreet Indoor Trampline Park in Murfreesboro the 5th thru 8th grade. This trip was topped off with a pizza party at Cici's.

Wednesday was Field Day where there was a ton of competitive fun and some shaving cream sprayed around.

Thursday the 8th grade was off to Dollywood for their final field trip as a student at Auburn Grammar.

Now it's time for their graduation which takes place tonight (Tuesday) at Prosperity Baptist Church. Kindergarten graduation begins at 5:00 p.m. with Eighth grade beginning at 7:00 p.m. You are invited.

Hannah Whited is on the run again and it's another 1st place win for her as well as her best personal time of 2.23 in the 800mm at the Sub-sectionals meet held at Watertown High School. But she wasn't through - her 4x4 relay team came in 2nd. Congrats to you Hannah.

Also congrats to C.J. who is traveling to Chicago in October for the Chicago Marathon.

Thanks again C.J. for the news.

Why it's called a "Slumber Party" when a group of teenage girls get together for the night is beyond me. However this was the type of birthday party Adrianna Reed wanted for her 14th year. Helping her celebrate the night on the 13th were Baylee Fulkerson, Shelby Parker, Destiny Wood, Kaylee Rusnock, Lauren Crawley, Lulu Maier, Mary Beth Patterson, Alyssa Avera and Anna Leach.

Two more celebrate but not with a slumber party. Brooklyn and Londyn Francis was treated to a big blowout on the 15th at the home of grandparents, John and Kim Francis.

Saturday night, grandchildren Rylon and Amaieah Morrison spent the night with us. Sunday night it was grandchildren Kullon and Shiloh Patrick. Whew!

Our sympathy is extended to Edith McReynolds on the recent death of her father, Johnny Johnson of Smithville.

There's a new business in town: Sassy Sisters Boutique. Check out her Facebook page or contact Janna Womack at 615-464-4973.

Joelene Bobo and Barbara Cantrell begin our birthday list this week when they celebrate the 25th. Thomas Holder and James Hastings have theirs the 26th. Oh yeah and Marvin Davenport turns 82 the same day. Kathryn Turney gets to celebrate the 27th followed by Susan Turney and Bobby Bobo on the 28th. The 30th Jacob Bryson celebrates the same day as I do! Ending the week and the month are Darrell Turney and Jim Sherrell. Happy birthday to all of you (even me!)

Happy anniversary to Shane and Tammy Swift on the 25th. The 26th Lindsay and Donna Gunter and Don and Angela Moore have anniversaries - different years. It will be the 53rd year for William and Doris Fletcher York on the last day of the month. Happy anniversary to all of you.
