Yes Saturday was cold and brutal with rain and wind but our auction was well attended and we want to thank each of you who came and supported us during this time. P-pa and I have been farmers and doing hay for the public for many years (he longer than me) so it was with mixed emotions as we watched our equipment sale. Thanks to John Higgins and his "staff" for a job well done even though he did take a pretty good fall in the mud!

Also Adrianna Reed gives a big THANK YOU who supported her "booth" during the sale. She (and her parents) were thrilled with the amount she raised to help her with expenses to the Beta Convention to be held in Virginia in June.
It's here - the Jr. Beta Club fundraiser. They are making plans to carry their new state secretary, (our own, Mackenzie Turney) and their first place skit to Richmond, VA in June. So make plans now to help them with their expenses and you can enjoy a delicious meal without cooking it yourself or cleaning up afterwards.

The menu is chicken fried chicken and gravy with choice of 3 vegetables: mashed potatoes, corn, fried squash, or green beans. Roll, dessert and drink are included in the $8.00/adult, $5.00/ages 4-10 and free to 3 and under meal. Date is Thursday, April 10th from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Place is the Auburn Community Center. If you can't sit down to eat with us then be sure to get yours as a carry out.

April 9th Michael Nichols, David Dunn, twins Jerry Bryan and Geraldine Farless and Ronnie Blake Gandy begin our birthday list. Deborah Shehan and Elaine Mingle have the same birthdays (different years) on the 14th while Charles Dickey Vantrease and Sadie Grace Hackett wind up our list on the 15th. Happy birthday to all of you.
