Our sympathy to the loved ones of Jack Pugh who passed away recently.

Get well wishes to Sara Haley who is recovering from knee replacement removal. This was done last week at Centennial and she is now recuperating in Rehab.

Thursday, March 20th, was a special night for the Lady Knights, Knights and their cheerleaders. Slick Pig barbecue and the trimmings were severed to around 140 (plus or minus) which included parents, grandparents, as well as the honorees.

P-pa and I began our spring break Saturday when we left to spend a few days in and around Gatlinburg. No shows just cruising and eating. Tuesday we returned home to a blistery day of cold and snow and sunshine and cold and snow and sunshine - that's Tennessee weather!

That day, Tim and DeAnna Reed enjoyed the back roads sightseeing to Monteagle where they spent the night and came home another way. She could remember when her mom and dad (that's us) used to do that when she was a youngster and it was so-o-o-o boring. Does this mean this has something to do with age??

That same night, Youth members and chaperones of Prosperity Baptist Church, Jordan & Joanie Blackburn, Dasson Medlin, Callie, Shelby and Nancy Mulloy, Lesa, Alan Bailey and Garrett Hayes, Shelby Clayborn, Janna, Alayna and Adrianna Reed, Jayra Plattenburg, Tessa Hall, Alanna Woodham, Allison and Bonnie Rigsby, Emily Keaton, and Vicky, Hailey and Brett Walker enjoyed a meal at Cheddar's in Murfreesboro followed by the movie "God's Not Dead, the movie".

Don't forget the fundraiser for the Jr. Beta Club who is making plans to carry their new state secretary, (our own, Mackenzie Turney) and their first place skit to Richmond, VA in June. So make plans now to help them with their expenses and you can enjoy a delicious meal without cooking it yourself or cleaning up afterwards.

The menu is chicken fried chicken and gravy with choice of 3 vegetables: mashed potatoes, corn, fried squash, or green beans. Roll, dessert and drink are included in the $8.00/adult, $5.00/ages 4-10 and free to 3 and under meal. Date is Thursday, April 10th from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Place is the Auburn Community Center. If you can't sit down to eat with us then be sure to get yours as a carry out.

Gordon Summar and Dean Nichols have the same birthday (different years!) which is the 4th. Eddie Nichols turns 70, and Devlin Mullins and Dustin Patrick both hit 24 on the 5th. Cheyenne Fann and Blake Jackson celebrate the 7th and Scott Turney, Katie Irene Dunn and Shirley Mingle finish up the week's worth of birthday wishes on the 8th.
Again there are no anniversaries listed.
