We love our patrons so much that one day for Valentine's isn't going to be enough so we have planned an entire week of fun activities. Read on to see what's in store for you at your Library!

Join local authors, Anthony and Jan Howse , here at the Library on Saturday, February 7, 2015 from 1-3 PM. Stop-in and listen to them share about their new book, God Does No Wrong, a story faith tested.

On Monday, grab a friend and drop-in for a quick game of chess.

Tuesday is filled with story time fun! Valentines is the topic of the week. Join us Tuesday, February 10, at 10:30 a.m. at Adams Memorial and on Wednesday, February 11, at 10:30 a.m. at Auburntown. Bring your little reader and share the love of reading. For children ages 2 to 5.

The Winter Reading Program continues through February 28, so you have three weeks to read and win prizes. For every 5 books you read, you get a prize and you're entered for the grand prize drawing. Check out some romance books for this week to get in the mood for the weekend. This is open to anyone in the 6th grade or older. Sign up at the circulation desk and learn all about it.

Be sure to drop in and enjoy the beautiful quilts on display. These quilts were brought in by patrons and showcase the talents of quilters past and present. Every quilt is sewn with love making this the perfect exhibit for February.

Excel Essentials class continues with a new topic, so don't forget to come for lesson two this week on the 11th at 10:00 a.m. On February 12, come learn all about Facebook . How does Facebook work? How do I find people? How do they find me? This class will give you an idea of what to do. If you don't have a Facebook account, you will have one when you leave class. Sign up at the circulation desk.

Calling all crafters...on Wednesday, February 11, Adams Memorial will host an adult crafting event at 10:30 a.m. Go home with a clay heart as a gift for someone special. Or keep it, since you're pretty special yourself.

Café Conversations continues on Monday, February 9, with the topic of Community: What are the challenges facing Cannon County? Be here at 10:30 a.m. to discuss our community and how we can make a difference in it. If book discussions are more your style, a Novel Idea, the winter book club, meets on February 19, at 1 p.m. to discuss the book Sarah's Key by Tatiana de Rosnay.

Valentine's Day, Saturday, February 14, we have two very special activities. First at 10 a.m. we are presenting the 1st Annual Chocolate Festival, yum yum. Come taste your way through the history of chocolate. If you're ages 12 to 17, come at 1 p.m. for the T-shirt Infinity Scarf craft making activity. Bring your own old T-shirt and leave with a new fashion item to wear on Valentine's Evening. You can find more information about these events and sign up at the circulation desk.

Don't forget, Teens, the library wants you. We need you to assist with computer skills and homework help. You bridge the gap between young and old so sign up to share your knowledge. The Teen Advisory Board is your opportunity to plan events you want to do. If you think our ideas are lame, they probably are and we need you to set us straight. You can sign up for that at the circulation desk as well.
