This weekend three local boys competed in an 8 and under USSSA baseball tournament in Cane Ridge, TN. Their team, Middle TN Rebels, captured First Place. Congratulations to (left to right) Matt Calamia, Jacob Raines, and Branden Schwartz.
On Thursday, April 15th, 2010 class representatives from Mr. William F. Curtis’s U.S. Government classes visited and observed State Government in action at the Tennessee State Capitol in Nashville, Tennessee. Several very good things occurred on this excellent field trip.

Marine Corps Pvt. Christopher J. Tounzen, son of Lisa A. and James W. Tounzen of Woodbury, Tenn., recently completed 12 weeks of basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S. C. designed to challenge new Marine recruits both physically and mentally.
