Cannon County's Unemployment Rate Drops 1.1 Percent
The employment picture in Cannon County got a little brighter last month, as the unemployment rate fell to 10.0 percent in November from 11.1 percent in October.
Inmates Begin GED Program
On November 25, 2009 the GED program at the Cannon County Jail began with six male inmates participating in the program. The initial portion of the program was for each inmate to write an essay which was collected two days later.
