Ms. Ruby Irene Hollis, age 69, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, at her home in McMinnville following an extended illness. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009 at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home. Interment will be be in Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville.

The Tennessee Forestry Association has announced that State Representative Stratton Bone has been honored as the organization’s 2009 Legislator of the Year. Representative Bone serves as Chair of the House Agriculture Committee. Chairman Bone represents District 46 which includes Wilson, Cannon and Trousdale Counties.
