Angela King was placed on state probation for 5 years and ordered to pay $27,520 in restitution fees by Circuit Court Judge David Bragg Thursday.


Bragg ordered Angela King placed on state probation for 5 years and ordered to pay restitution to Cannon County in the amount of $26,170 for theft over $10,000.


King, former director of the Cannon County REACH program, was arrested following an investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation in connection with a Tennessee Comptroller's Office audit of the office.

  In another case King was placed on state probation for 5 years and ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $1,350 for theft over $1,000. These charges were related to passing a counterfeit check.

Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't there over $60,000 in missing money?

What is going to happen about the other $30 thousand or so that is not part of this judgement?

Is that going to be repaid by the insurance company Mike Gannon keeps talking about or are we just going to lose out because the Word Document receipts were good enough after all?
