Woodbury FFA Forestry Team Brings Home First Honors Of 2010

Members of the FFA chapter attended forestry camp held at Camp Clements June 4-5. During this event contestants competed in leaf identification, chainsaw identification and safety, insect and disease identifications, individual and team tree measurements, a compass course, and individual and team testing. The team did an outstanding job in the contest by placing first regionally and eighth in the state. Congratulations on a job well done! This is the first of many teams the chapter plans to build and will have compete in contests during the upcoming year.
