Carolyn Ann Simpson, 71, of Woodbury passed away Tuesday October 20, 2026. Born in Cannon Co., she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Mary Emberton Melton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Wanda Faye Melton.
She is survived by her husband Kenny Simpson, daughter Kimberly (Jamie) Lynn, son Billy (Taylor) Simpson; grandchildren, Treyvon (Sarah) Myers, Hannah Simpson, Eliseanna Ralston, Haylee Simpson, Kynsley Lynn, Kinleigh Vaughn, Hadley Hopkins; great grandchildren, Bryson Myers, Waylon Myers, Ava Myers; siblings Mack Melton, Rita Payne and, Jerry Melton.
Carolyn was a member of Bethlehem Church of Christ. She enjoyed being outside, sewing, canning, spending numerous hours with her best friend Jean Keathley. She loved her family dearly, spending cherished times with them and making memories.
Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Friday, October 23, 2026, in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Boyd Barker officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Visitation for her family and friends will be from 10:00 am until the time of service at 3 PM at the Woodbury Funeral Home.
