Kevin Scott Parker, 53, of Woodbury passed away suddenly Saturday, May 3, 2025 at St. Thomas St. River Hospital. Born in Rutherford Co., he is the son of Lonnie and Diane Jones Parker of Murfreesboro.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 33 years, Patricia Williams Parker of Woodbury; his sons, Charles Scott Parker and Kenneth Ray Parker both of Woodbury; 2 grandchildren, Brenleigh Parker and Jaxen Parker and his brothers, Timothy Shawn Parker and Dewayne Anthony Parker both of Murfreesboro. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. He leaves a host of other relatives and friends.

A man of God, Kevin worked at Alvin C. York Medical center where he was an EMS supply clerk. He had many hobbies and he was known as a “Chevy man”. He loved his hot rods and drag racing. His other hobbies included, bee keeping, farming, and was a baseball coach and also a coach for Auburn Elementary basketball. Most of all, he was a family man. He was a wonderful son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 7, 2025 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Spurling officiating. Interment will follow in the Parker Family Cemetery. Pallbearers include Scott Parker, Kenny Parker, Shawn Parker Dewayne Parker, Derrick Parker and Chris Travis.

His family will receive friends Tuesday, May 6, 2025 from 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. and Wednesday, May 7, 2025 from 12:00 P.M. until his time of service.
