Sports writing veteran, Chip Cirillo, has joined the staff of the Cannon Courier.
Cirillo worked at the Tennessean newspaper for the past 18 years, mainly covering high school sports.
In addition, he covered the Nashville Predators, area colleges, arena football and a variety of sports.
Prior to that, Cirillo worked at the Clarksville Leaf-Chronicle and the Brentwood Journal newspapers.
A University of Illinois graduate, Cirillo is a long-time Chicago Cubs fan.
