The financial assistance and support recently given by the City means more than words can say.  We are very thankful that the Mayor and our City Alder-person's also see how vital S.A.V.E. is to our county, its residents and to all victims of abuse. 
 
It provides a sense of pride that we have city leaders willing to stand up and say that yes domestic violence is a problem in our county.  It is our responsibility as a community and as a county to work together to stop the spread of violence and protect all victims of abuse. We, the City Council are going to do our part in the fight against domestic violence in our community.
